Here are some pics of Jasper's first bath. I thought he might cry since he is not too fond of sponge baths but he seemed to really like the warm water. I'm hoping he'll love the water like both of us.

First Bottle
Mike gave Jasper his first bottle, which he did not even mind at all. It went well, surprisingly...The only thing is he guzzled it down and it sounded like he was drinking from a fire hose. He drank a little too fast and was done in about 5 minutes. Lets just say he puked up a lot of it.
Doin' the JW
Mike snapped this photo with his iPhone when we were in the hospital getting ready to bring Jasper home. As soon as we put on his UK outfit and laid him on the bed he started moving his little hand around like he was doing the John Wall dance. We did not pose this picture, he did it on his own. He's a True Blue fan already!

Feeding
Everything is good in the Stacy household these days...although I feel like all I do is feed Jasper. He's apparently hit a growth spurt and because he is a slow eater (45 minutes to an hour each time) and needs to feed every 2-3 hours, these days I don't get much accomplished outside a shower and brushing my teeth. I've been assured by my friend, Sarah, that after about 6-8 weeks of age things will get better.

Jasper is Here!
Well, Jasper is finally here!!! We went to the hospital Monday the 26th at 8PM to be induced and I went into labor on my own. My water broke at almost 12 midnight and Jasper arrived 1:52 PM on April 27th. Everything went great except we had to stay and extra night at the hospital because I had to have a blood transfusion. I've been instructed to take it extra easy because it will take a while for my body to build the blood back up. Here are some pictures of our precious angel - we are so in love with him! He is so good and sweet and hardly cries (knock on wood). He came into the world weighing 8 pounds 10 oz. and was 21.5 inches long. I swear all his weight is in his cheeks!
