For a few weeks Jasper has been smiling and I've been trying to get a picture of it, but when the camera comes out he starts to frown. I FINALLY got some this past weekend. Just in time for our photo session with the photographer. Let's hope he'll do it for her.

Murdy and his new brother
It has been a big adjustment for Murdoc since he is no longer the baby of the family. He ignored me for the first three weeks and decided he didn't want to sleep in our room anymore. Once Jasper started moving around more, Murdoc showed more interest. He started being protective when other animals are around Jasper and decided he'd move back into our room at night. If Jasper is crying and I can't get to him right away, Murdoc will get up and stand by him to make sure he's okay. Here are some pics we took of him getting to know Jasper. What a sweet boy Murdy is!

Some mini-swamp pictures
I somehow missed getting any pics of Jackson Mando while he was visiting. Below are two mini-swamps getting to know each other.

Noah Daugherty leans in for the kiss.
MWAH!
SWAMPS
My friends Tricia and Amy came to visit also while Susan was in town so we could get all the swamps and mini-swamps together. For those of you that don't know, swamps is something we call each other from our college days. The only swamp missing was Beth-swamp :-( We missed you B!
Jasper meets Maya
My friend Susan and her family came in town for a few hours visit on their way back to Knoxville. These are pics of her little girl Maya when she and Jasper first met. Jasper looks a little freaked out in the second picture but he quickly warmed up and became very interested in her. Susan and I are hoping to be in-laws someday.

First Bath
Here are some pics of Jasper's first bath. I thought he might cry since he is not too fond of sponge baths but he seemed to really like the warm water. I'm hoping he'll love the water like both of us.
First Bottle
Mike gave Jasper his first bottle, which he did not even mind at all. It went well, surprisingly...The only thing is he guzzled it down and it sounded like he was drinking from a fire hose. He drank a little too fast and was done in about 5 minutes. Lets just say he puked up a lot of it.
